Úna Bhreathnach is Assistant Professor in Fiontar & Scoil na Gaeilge at Dublin City University. She holds a PhD in Terminology from DCU (‘A Best-Practice Model for Term Planning’, 2011). She is editorial manager of a number of projects including the National Terminology Database for Irish (Téarma.ie), the Placenames Database of Ireland (Logainm.ie), the Ainm.ie biographies project, the Gaois.ie corpora and terminology projects, and Dúchas.ie, the project to digitise the National Folklore Collection.
Colin Flynn (PhD, TCD) is Assistant Professor in Irish and Applied Linguistics at Dublin City University. He previously held positions at Trinity College Dublin, the University of São Paulo and St Patrick’s College, Drumcondra. His research and teaching is focused on second language learning, social psychology of language, minority language maintenance and revival, bilingualism and multilingualism.
Stephen Lucek is Occasional Lecturer in Linguistics at University College Dublin where he lectures on Sociolinguistics and World Englishes. His research centres around sociolinguistics in Ireland, approaching questions of language variation and change from contact, cognitive, and perceptual perspectives. He has worked extensively in publishing in academic and professional contexts.
