Vol. 27 (2020): TEANGA 27

Volume 27, published in November 2020, covers language and education policy, teaching methods, immersion education, special needs education and forensic phonetics. There is a focus on the Irish language with discussion of immersion education, language models/ideologies, sources of self-efficacy in language learning and use, and text-to-speech synthesis, as well as Gaeltacht education. This issue contains nine research articles, one project report and two book reviews. The editors are Stephen Lucek, Colin Flynn and Úna Bhreathnach. TEANGA 27 is the journal’s third (and last) issue under the current Editorship.

Foilsíodh Imleabhar 27 i mí na Samhna 2020. Clúdaíonn sé polasaithe teanga agus oideachais, modhanna teagaisc, an tumoideachas, oideachas do riachtanais speisialta, agus an fhoghraíocht fhóiréinseach. Dírítear ar an nGaeilge agus plé á dhéanamh ar an tumoideachas; ar mhúnlaí agus idé-eolaíochtaí teanga; ar fhoinsí féin-éifeachtúileachta i bhfoghlaim agus in úsáid teanga; ar shintéis téacs-go-hurlabhra; agus ar an oideachas Gaeltachta.
