  • TEANGA 32 - Out Now!

    2025-11-21

Is cúis áthais don Fhoireann Eagarthóireachta an 32ú hEagrán den iris TEANGA a chur i láthair. Cuimsíonn an 15 pháipéar a chuirtear i dtoll a chéile san eagrán seo réimse leathan an taighde chomhaimseartha sa Teangeolaíocht Fheidhmeach in Éirinn agus níos faide i gcéin. Cé go bhfuil raidhse topaicí faoi chaibidil san eagrán seo, tháinig ceithre mhórthéama chun cinn: fírinní sóisialta agus dioscúrsa, malairtí agus cleachtais teanga, oideachas trí mheán na Gaeilge, agus comhthéacsanna foghlama teangacha.

The Editorial Team is honoured to introduce the 32nd issue of TEANGA. The 15 papers brought together here reflect the breadth, depth, and evolving character of contemporary Applied Linguistics research in Ireland and beyond. While the topics of the studies are wide ranging, four thematic clusters emerge: discourses and social realitiesvariation and language practicesIrish-medium education; and language learning contexts

    2024-11-16

Is mór an onóir é don Fhoireann Eagarthóireachta nua an 31ú heagrán den iris TEANGA a chur i láthair. Airítear páipéar tosaigh, deich bpáipéar taighde agus léirmheas leabhair amháin in eagrán reatha na hirise. Cé go gcuimsítear réimse leathan ábhar anseo, is féidir scagadh a dhéanamh ar na páipéir de réir dhá mhórchatagóir, catagóirí atá fós comhlántach lena chéile mar sin féin – cleachtais teanga agus oideachas teanga.

As the new Editorial Team, it is our honour to both introduce the 31st issue of TEANGA. The current issue includes one introductory paper, ten research papers and one book review. While the content of the research papers is wide ranging, it can be broken down into two broad, yet complementary categories – language practices and language education.
